Arizona bound. In beautiful lovely Casa Grande. Just kidding. It's an alright town I grew up in part time. Best part about it, I met my husband here.
This will be Blake's third time in Arizona. Our deranged decision to drive out the past Thanksgiving and Christmas still puzzles me.. Just kidding. We wanted to share the time of Blake's infancy with the family. Because you know, " Kids grow like weeds" so the cliche they say is true. ( a million times said ) Almost 9 months later... still saying in almost every damn blog post. Oh my god where did the time go?!?!
Dad has continued traveling for work, Leaving this mama and baby again to hang out and await his arrival home. So this stretch of time, I decided it was time to go home. It hasn't been since Christmas since our last visit here, And it is in the hottest time of year, A lovely 115 degrees. ( Seriously how do we live here? ) Why come here now when It's cooler in California. Well in my opinion hot is hot. Once the weather is over 100 it's just too miserably hot. So I might as well come home in my families nice central air and swimming pool.
Here a week so far. My original thought on my venture out here was family = help! Family = baby sitters! Family = a little more time to my self. Maybe I'll be able to update this thing quicker. Maybe I will go out and get a pedicure! I have only had one since Blake's birth. And yet none of that has happened. I don't know if it's just the new environment and schedule. But Blake has been so damn clingy, and whiney. Constant whines and cries. Never like this at home, Making me look like a liar. Considering his other two top teeth are coming in? Not sure but because of my grouchy baby my plans have yet to come about.
My mom flew out to Arizona to assist me on driving back here to assist with Blake and the dogs on the trip here. My mom hadn't seen Blake since Christmas so these past 6 months its just been visits via FaceTime. But he defiantly recognized her and smiled and chatted with her in the car.
Thankful to have this time to catch up with family and friends with Blake.. And soon to hopefully update on time!
P.S. Have I mentioned how much I hate summer?!?
