It's been a bit since my last post, Due to our schedule never staying consistent. With traveling and dads schedule it's honestly hard to set deadlines for myself. But I put Blake and Zach first. When I am not entertaining my child or hanging out with my husband, I clean or tackle on my crafts.
Blake had his 9 month check up about a week before he turned 10 months. It was delayed from our Arizona travels and other activities.
22 pounds. 31 inches long. He has 6 teeth! He is crawling, Gliding along furniture. Walks with his walker. Clapping. Shakes head no when he dislikes something. He loves to dance to music. Music is still one of his favorites. He has been eating off my plate past couple weeks. It has been making dinner a little easier. I cut him up tiny pieces of chicken or whatever I think he would enjoy. I still puree some foods for him because he likes being hand fed still and just makes a mess with finger foods or tries to feed them to the dogs. I puree veggies and add nice or noddles. This boy can eat a ton of food. He will eat a while avocado if I allowed it. Past few times going out to eat, I order him a kids meal and he damn well eats most of. It is insane. His favorite are the pouches that you squeeze out of the tube. He seriously happy dances when I offer him one.
Zach was able to take some time off this past week which is another reason why Ive be MIA. Such an enjoyable week. We took Blake to his first baseball game. We bought him his first pair of Vans. I figure since he's nearly walking he needs a set of new kicks and I hate taking him places barefoot.
Went and visited a cousin of mine and her adorable daughters. I think they all enjoyed themselves very much. We even went out to lunch and took the dogs with us. Ordered them chicken and rice off the dog menu. They had a day of being spoiled. Which they deserve, I feel guilty that they don't receive as much as attention as they used to but at least they have each other.
Aside from that not much going on at the Storer's residence, I finally took my spinning bike out of the garage and got a new waist trainer! When I moved to LA. I joined a spinning class with a few friends. I loved it. It was great and after time became such an enjoyable work out. I even made it legit and bought the shoes that click into the bike. For nearly a year I attended the class. Then I got tired of paying for it and own my own bike. A few months after pregnancy I was sentenced to pelvic rest. So no exercise and my bike started to collect dust. Now 10 months after birth and in process of weaning Blake. I've decided its time to quit being a lazy ass and start working out. So Ill update later with my workouts.
Bought a new sewing machine because mine crashed. It is always something to get me behind on my projects. Topping it off with Blake being mobile and getting into everything. We bought a play yard fence that I am so grateful for. Sometimes he throws a little tantrum when I put him in his area, Then goes off and plays with his millions of toys. So then I am able to get some sort of chore done.
Looking forward to next week, Zach and I will have our first day away. Nearly a whole day to ourselves to enjoy each other. We have tickets to the Modest Mouse concert next week and I have been counting down the days. Yay for date night ! Thank you to Zach's grandparents who will be taking care of our minion.
I have another post in the works so hopefully I wont get behind again.
Happy FRI YAY :)
