Since I was a little girl I've fortunately had the opportunity to visit Disney Land almost every other year. Even now as an adult I try and go as much as possible. Typical Disney nerd here. Obsessed. To this day I will have Disney movie marathons at home. So growing up a Disney nerd, I often talked of future plans taking my "kids" to Disney one day..
Well as a baby shower gift I received 2 tickets for Disney. So even before Blake was born we were planning his Disney trip, And let me tell you. We had a blast. To top it off we brought one of Blake's grandma's to join in on the fun. Zach's mom.
Blake rode just about everything he was allowed on. He rode the Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean with no tears or fear. He also just made the cut to ride the 2 smaller Car rides in California Adventure. The height limit is 32 inches. I can't believe my 15 month old is 32 inches long.
Well aware he won't remember much other than when we show him pictures of this past event in the future. But he defiantly enjoyed it, as well as mom, dad and grandma.
A great tip on when to visit Disney is go during the week. We went on a Tuesday and Wednesday. The week after Thanksgiving. It wasn't too crowded and we didn't wait for more than 20-30 minutes for maybe one ride if that.
Blake LOVES Mickey. We have Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Marathons. We've got the toys, PJs. He carries around his stuffed Mickey around the house. He didn't seem too sure in this photo. But afterwards a hug and a high five to mickey happened. Helpful tip. Toon Town usually opens an hour or two after Disney Land opens. Mickey and Minnie's house resides in Toon Town. Where you can wait in line and walk through the houses to meet and greet and photos with Mickey and Minnie. So we took advantage of that and went to the gate and waited for Toon Town to open so that we could be first in line to meet Mickey. Seeing Mickey walk up to the house, Blake was pushing off me so that I would put him down. After I let him go he ran up to Mickey, Then stared. Not quite sure what to do next. But I know he was thrilled.
We brought snacks and water in the park for Blake to have. I recommend formula or milk packets to make it easier if you need to make a bottle. But they have basically everything you need in the park for a overpriced convenience. Stroller, Carrier and snacks are key. Of course as well as diapers and bottle. SO MUCH FUN! Hoping to get an annual pass and make this regular trip instead of annual. Might as well when its under 2 hours away from home!
