My minion has accomplished so much! Every month that goes by becomes easier, And more enjoyable. And not in a sense as if I was hating motherhood and the months before. I say that because the first few months of motherhood were the toughest for me, Owing to the fact of well, Sleep deprivation and how colicky my newborn was. As time passes life becomes more relaxed and less difficult. Blake is able to entertain him self for longer periods of time and he is more perceptive to his surroundings. So much to see and learn. Speaking of learning.. Mr. Smarty Pants, Is grouping colors all on his own. I don't know the age range in which children start doing these genre of things but I am impressed. It is fascinating to watch the little creature I created absorb and master new skills.
This is Blake's ball pit with multiple color balls. Sometimes he likes to pick out only one color at a time and play with those ones. I don't have a photo where he was grouping multiple at a time, But dad witnessed that as well. It is pretty exciting.
Blake doesn't have a check up until next month. A 9 month visit. So I have no idea what his weight is. I am guessing at least 22 pounds because his last visit was 20. One of his top teeth are finally pushing through. Making it currently 3 teeth. He bit me... I am a jungle gym that he loves to bite. And drool on. Oh and feed on. Cry on and anything and everything else he needs. His current word is 'Da da" He threw ma ma out of his vocabulary currently. I guess dad is cooler.
He is on the move! I need to purchase baby gates badly, and baby proof the house a little better. But until then Blake is learning the word "no"... Especially when he's trying to climb up on a chair alone.
He is a great little eater. He loves himself a feast. I was making his food but after it's been frozen he decided to be picky. So I've been buying food lately. It's just easier anyways. Especially when I am on the go. Currently eating 2 jars or packets for dinner. One at breakfast, and sometimes two at lunch as well. We breastfeed in between and he has a bottle at bed with dad usually.
Still obsessed with big block singsong and tsum tsums. I think Big Block is what the theme of his first birthday will be. He doesn't really use his bouncer much maybe once a day. The rest of the day he's on the floor playing with his toys or trying to crawl some where he's not supposed to.
Me. Well I still have yet to exercise. Half the time I'm eating healthy. I'm barely at pre pregnancy weight. Whatever I love cookies !
Ive been trying to work on my sewing when I have the motivation and I'm not so tired. I have so many ideas with no time to spare. But I'm noticing as Blake gets older, He entertains him self a little longer.
We have a house sitting adventure happening in the near future. So basically a little vacation away from home. Hopefully it doesn't throw off his sleeping schedule too much.
Until next week!
